We collect data directly from you, your college or university or background check providers.

Assess your eligibility for a grant.
Pay your grant if you are successful
Communicate with you during the grant process.
Meet our legal regulatory requirements.

5. Legal Basis for Processing Our lawful bases include:
To select and pay grant beneficiaries.
To monitor and report on the success of our activities
Anonymised for optional equal opportunities monitoring.
6. Who We Share Your Data With:
Trustees of our Charity for them to consider you for a grant
Your college or University so that they can support the wider grant programme and other
students
Background check providers.
Anonymised data with third party supporters
7. How Long We Keep Your Data
If your application is unsuccessful, we will retain your personal data for up to 6 months
We will retain your personal data for 2 years after you have received the last of any grant. We will retain your bank information for one month after any annual grant has been paid

Access whatever data we hold for you.
Request correction or deletion.
Withdraw your consent for us to process your data
Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office
